I am an enthusiastic and strong advocate of low-conflict divorces and co-parenting, as it is always the best choice when a divorce involves children. I've found that most parents will do anything to protect their children from the trauma of divorce and they couple would like mutual respect from each other after the divorce. This article gives some great advice on some of the ways to keep a solid foundation for cooperative parenting. Parents who choose this method work together in the upbringing of their children, and don’t allow issues in their personal relationship to affect the work they do raising their children. There are certain things that shouldn’t necessarily end when the relationship does, such as respect, consideration, planning, and communication.
